Berry.Plays : SENSORY DISCOVERY BOTTLE PLAY

Today Mommy is going extra by making DIY sensory or discovery bottle.. Discovery bottle is a type of sensory play for babies to explore new sensory items yang kecik2 and dangerous to them.. so… we put it in a bottle aaannnddd… TAADAAA.. jadi mainan yet it helps our baby to develop too..

For this play, mommy used barang apa ada kat dapur je. and I bought few things from MR DIY craft section. 

Things we need: 
- Bottles 
- Things to put in 

Mommy’s Discovery Bottle:

BOTTLE 1

- Spiral Pasta

- Fluff ball ( i dont know what it is called.. that bulu bulu ball)

- Colorful alphabet (konon nak bagi study abc cepat haha asian mom detected)

BOTTLE 2

- Water (cold)

- Glitters

- Fluff ball

- Colorful alphabet

- Duct tape ( to secure the lid)

So ni mommy punya bottle.. first try.. macam huduh….but.. BerryMochi loves it so much…….NOT!!!! IT WAS A FAILURE!!!!! so sedih.. haha

Lepas2 tu mommy learned that I made few mistakes

Bottle 1:

-pasta tu banyak sangat tak boleh nk shake2

Bottle 2:

-instead of water kena pakai gel+water so it will hold the things inside it nmpk mcm floating in the middle of the “water".. when i use water everything either sinks to the bottom of the bottle or floats at the top of the water. What the baby can see is only air kosong..

WHAT TO PUT IN THE BOTTLE?

- Choose bright color things 

- Choose things that can make sound when shaken

- Choose things that moves fast

- Use cheap hair colored hair gel + water

UPDATE::

i tried to give her the sensory bottle again when she was 8 months and she loves it (for real).. she hold the bottle and shake it and throw it and try to find it and play with it again..

so… moral of the story is… dont throw away the stuffs.. just the matter of time je.. and one day she dont want to play.. other days she cant stop play with it :)
